The FMFNBA will provide the benefits discussed above to its members also known as “Citizen-owned companies”. In order for a company to be considered a member, the following criteria must be met:

• Must be a registered member of the FMFN;
• Must be a registered business; and
• 51% FMFN (Nation or member) ownership in the business. Certification can be done through the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) and their Certified Aboriginal Business (CAB) program.
